Loren Damewood grew up in the Tampa Bay area and is a member of the West Coast Chapter of the Florida Society of Goldsmiths. An enthusiastic and dedicated knot-tyer for most of his life, his jewelry making is a natural outgrowth of that interest: "The use of precious materials turns the inherently satisfying patterns of complex knots into objects of lasting beauty."
